About this project
Dover Elementary School provides special education for students with mental and physical disabilities. The school, founded in 1950, is located in Dover, Fla. Ot provides education to students in prekindergarten through grade five.
One of the challenges of installing a fire sprinkler system in this existing school is the lack of water supply from municipalities. Installation of a 25,000-gal water storage tank was required to supply water to the fire sprinkler system. Installtion of a fully equiped fire pump house will pull water from the tank and supply water to the newly installed sprinkler system in the newly renovated building at the school. All underground from the pump house to the school was also installed in this process.
