What We Do?
Our design team will survey the site and use CAD drawings to design a fire protection system layout for each project. These drawings will be sealed and submitted for permitting. They will then be utilized in coordination with other trades and in the field for proper installation by our qualified installation team. Our design experience covers all types of projects, from residential to commercial to special hazard.
Our installation team is experienced in construction of condominiums, residential occupancies, hotels, hospitals, schools, universities, warehousing, and tenant build-out work.
Our design manager is involved in every aspect of each project, from site survey to design, engineering, permitting and coordination. We pride ourselves on communication and customer service and can coordinate with all other trades.
Our inspection department has over fifty years of combined experience. They are certified in Examination Preparation Inspection and Testing Systems by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies. Inspection experience includes fire pumps, private hydrants, standpipe systems, and wet, dry and special systems per NFPA 25.
Our service department jobs include aquariums, large corporations, churches, condominiums, distilleries, inns & motels, office buildings, schools, warehouses, assisted living facilities and hospitals. We are the sole service provider for Lakeland Regional Hospital. View Recommendation Letter (pdf)

About Us
St. Petersburg Fire Protection is a local State of Florida Women Owned, Minority fire protection business enterprise formed in 2010. The vision and principle of the company is to provide the highest level of life safety with consistent quality and exceptional customer service by establishing long term relationships based on honesty and integrity.
Suzanne Saults, owner and President of the company has been in the fire protection business since 1999. She was the last Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the Florida chapter of the American Fire Sprinkler Association. She has a Contractor I Florida Fire Protection license. She has also earned several certifications from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies in Automatic Fire Sprinkler System Layout (IV), Special Hazards Systems (III) and Fire Alarms (II).
